CLIFF WALL SUBARU DONATES TO THE BROWN COUNTY AGING AND DISABILITY RESOURCE CENTER’S HOME BOUND MEALS PROGRAM FOR SUBARU “SHARE THE LOVE” PROGRAM
GREEN BAY, WI –January 25, 2012 – Cliff Wall Subaru recently completed a successful “Share the Love” marketing campaign that was designed around the Subaru nationwide program. The Green Bay auto dealership had pledged to donate $50 to the local chapter of Meals On Wheels with each new Subaru purchased or leased during the month of December. A check for $1,500.00 was presented to Sandy Groeschel of the Brown County Home Bound Meals that will be used to help sustain and hopefully grow the program which feeds approximately 400 meals to local seniors daily.

This local contribution is in addition to a nationwide program sponsored by Subaru. Based on the love Subaru owners have for their vehicles and their desire to help worthy causes, the “Subaru Share the Love” event allowed Subaru new vehicle customers to select from five charities to receive a $250 donation from Subaru of America, following the vehicle purchase or lease.
Over the last four years, the program has donated nearly $20 million to its partner organizations. The five charities participating in the program this year were: American Forests, The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Special Olympics and the Meals On Wheels Association of America.
In celebration of the conclusion of the “Share the Love” event, Subaru ran a full-page ad in January 25th’s USA Today “Life” Section, which has an estimated total audience of 3.1 million. In this ad, Subaru thanks their owners for their participation in the event, as well as highlighting this year’s $5 MM donation made to the five charity partners.
