"I just wanted to take a few moments to commend you and your team for making our new car buying experience a pleasant one. Dan was very helpful in providing the information we needed without being overbearing. He was very informed on the car and its options and features.
We started our quest about 2 weeks prior to contacting Dan/Cliff Wall.  We test drove 7 different midsized SUV's trying to narrow our choices. Our first test drive was a Forester, then the Outback, then a Honda, Kia, Toyota, Chevrolet, and a Nissan. After driving all the cars my wife and I compared our notes at home and narrowed the choice to 2, the Nissan Rogue and the Outback. We returned to the showrooms for a back to back test drive and to begin negotiations with the salesmen.  I will tell you it is difficult to put all the options and features together to be able to do a fair comparison.  Some features are standard from one manufacturer and an option from the other.  All said and done I was leaning toward the Nissan for a couple of reasons, the salesman knew the car well, there were a number of features as standard, and Nissan had some incentives.  The dealership we were working with on the Outback was firm in MSRP price, was insulting on trade offer and the salesman was pushy, with comments like  "you'll need to decide on this soon, cause I don't know if I can hold it longer."
    That's when I decided to search on the web to see what other Subaru dealers were out there. I had a choice of Bergstrom in Oshkosh or Cliff Wall in GB. I decided to call CW.  I made a call, and was transferred to Dan Cress, discussed with him what I saw on your website, outlined the features we were interested in, asked to know what was on the lot, and scheduled a trip to CW Subaru. I didn't reveal to Dan that we had already looked at and test drove an Outback already because I wanted to have him "sell" me the car. Well he did, and he sold my wife as well; pointing out features that were important to her, from easily reached window controls and door handles to the vertical adjustment on the drivers seat to get her up in the air more.  I think that had I not looked for another Subaru dealer and met with Dan, I believe I would have gone with the Nissan.  The CW discount as well as the appealing finance options put CW well ahead of its competition in Appleton but brought the Outback in line with the Nissan for buyer incentives.  I will say that all things equal for features and options the Nissan comes in at a lower cost. But when we compared the cabin space, safety record, reliability, engine, MPG, and the AWD/CV transmission, in my mind the Subaru wins the "value" equation.
Once we agreed to purchase the vehicle the process was flawless from the credit app, to the loan paper work (Thanks Nick), to the delivery.

We love how fast and nice all the staff at your dealership was and will buy all our vehicles from you in the future....   We have owned Nissan, Honda, Jeep, Toyota and a Subaru in the past, but the Subaru you sold us this last Saturday makes us want to sleep in it.
